Let us introduce Professor José Manuel González-Méijome
We are proud to announce that Professor José Manuel González-Méijome will do an exciting lecture about soft contact lenses at our conference this year. Does lens material matter for daily disposables? Sign up to our conference and join this lecture.
This talk will review the present evidence-based facts surrounding the use of silicon-hydrogel and hydrogel daily disposable in contact lens practice, including critical aspects of contact lens practitioners as biological interaction with the ocular surface tissues and fluids, physiological tolerance related with oxygen requirements, compliance and comparative performance of comfort and dryness.
Professor José Manuel González-Méijome, PhD, is employed as a Full Professor of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of Minho in Portugal. He is also the founder and coordinator of the Clinical and Experimental Optometry Research Lab, and has an impressive list over publications during the years. He is a great international speaker and we are looking forward to welcoming him on stage.
Last year, 2016, he received the Prize “International Optometrist of the Year” by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Spain. Congratulation!
We want to thank CooperVision for sponsoring this lecture.
